NEXOFIL PRIZE 2020

The stamp block titled ’The Returning of the Seuso Treasure II. won a I. and a III. Prize  in two different categories at the Nexofil Stamp Awards in Spain.

GREEN PRINTING-HOUSE OF THE YEAR – 2012; 2013; 2014; 2015; 2018; 2019

In 2019, The Banknote Printing Company achieved a ***** qualification of the GPwA competition, and was awarded the Green Printing-House of the Year award for the 6th time.

BEST PRINT HUNGARY 2019

The Banknote Printing Company won awards in several different categories at the prestigious Best Print Hungary 2019 competition of printed products, and also won Print & Publishing’s ‘Harmony’ special award for the completion of the marketing card.

BEST PRINT HUNGARY 2018

We won a silver qualification in the security item category for our anniversary issue postage stamp called ‘150 years of Hungarian postage stamp printing’.

ANDRÁS HESS AWARD 2017

In 2017, the András Hess Award established by the board of the Hungarian Federation of Printers and Paper Makers was awarded to two of our colleagues. Péter Huszár product development manager and Béla Markó printing-house security manager were awarded for their outstanding professional achievements.

BEST PRINT HUNGARY 2017

The Banknote Printing Company won two awards at the prestigious Best Print Hungary 2017 competition of printed products: the ‘Tree of the Year’ special issue postage stamp won gold, the ‘Geological Treasures’ special issue postage stamp block won silver qualifications.

WIPA GRAND PRIX 2015

Our stamp block titled ’The Returning of the Seuso Treasure’ came second at the WIPA Grand Prix 2015 International Stamp Fair and Competition.

‘THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STAMP OF 2014’ WORKMANSHIP CHALLENGE-CUP

The Hungarian Post and the National Association of Hungarian Stamp Collectors awarded the Banknote Printing Company with ‘The Most Beautiful Stamp of 2014’ award for our stamp block titled ’The Returning of the Seuso Treasure’ on the 88th Postage Stamp Day.

ANDRÁS HESS AWARD 2015

In 2017, the András Hess Award established by the board of the Hungarian Federation of Printers and Paper Makers was awarded to two of our colleagues. Zsuzsanna Halabrin product development manager and Csaba Iván security product facility manager were awarded for their outstanding professional achievements.

The Banknote Printing Company won two awards at the prestigious Best Print Hungary 2015 competition of printed products: the ‘The Animal Life of Hungary’ special issue postage stamp block won gold, the ’The Returning of the Seuso Treasure’ postage stamp block won silver qualifications. (The graphic designs of the stamps were provided by the Hungarian Post.)

SCODIX DESIGN AWARD 2014

The first place in Technology category of Scodix Design Award 2014 was awarded to the postage stamp series depicting veteran motorbikes. The sheet of 12 pictures had been designed by Attila Elekes, and the stamps were printed by four-colour printing technology. The stamp block had been printed and perforated by Banknote Printing Company, while the 3D UV-varnish had been applied by Prime Rate Kft. using a Scodix machine.

PRO TYPOGRAPHIA 2014

We won a silver qualification at Pro Typographia Product Competition’s ‘Security Documents and Bonds’ category for our ‘Hungarian Saints and Beatified People’ special issue postage stamp. Our ‘Birth Certificate’ product won a special award from Printinfo in ‘Tradition’ category. Several others of our products won excellent qualifications as well.
